Salary: $80,000–$100,000 a year and company benefit

Job type: Full-time Monday to Friday

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Providing complete and accurate engineering packages including design, technical drawings with GD&T, calculation within budget and to agreed timeline for houses, industrial and commercial buildings.
• Support and facilitate design reviews and sign off the release of mechanical design work.
• Work with outside suppliers to design products/equipment, which meet the design specification and are capable of cost-effective manufacture.
• Timely action of engineering change requests in accordance with company procedures, and progress them through the design office to completion.
• Research information from a variety of sources to support the mechanical design and decision make.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• 3+ years’ Experience in similar technical roles
• Experience in machine design and calculations
• Familiarity with FEA simulation, dynamics/mechanical analysis
• Working knowledge of Solidworks or other similar CAD packages
• Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.)
• Experience in creating technical drawings, documentation, and specifications
• Good understanding of engineering calculations, material properties, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine elements, automation, and controls
